About Our Company

 

Conturo is born out of a partnership between two people who work well together.

 
Realising a shared passion for working out how to deliver for a client’s vision, it became clear that our complimentary skillsets made it easy to follow each other’s handiwork.
Between us, we have completed hundreds of individual projects, from tenement flat renovations to listed buildings.

Consulting

Every project starts with a meeting. This lets us get to know you and what it is you want to do. After delivery of your architect’s initial drawings we will arrange a visit to the site, before our second meeting. At this stage there will be a firm understanding of what you want to achieve and what your needs are. This will also help us get to know the other professionals we will be working alongside to bring your project to fruition.

  

Planning

Planning

We’ll work carefully together with architects, structural engineers and quantity surveyors to develop a plan which will produce the best possible results keeping in mind quality, timescales and budgets. Time spent properly planning helps ensure that the building goes smoothly and the final product is something you love.

This is where the fun begins. We can get on with the amalgamating timber with glass, concrete and stone. The vision you have developed with your architect can be realised. It is never easy - but you are in good hands. Every problem has a solution and that`s why we are here.

House design

We at Conturo are pleased to announce we have just won the exciting contract to expand one of Scotland’s busiest pharmacies.
We are starting work modernising and extending Mackie Pharmacy on Paisley Road West in Glasgow – one of the most technologically advanced chemists in the country.
The project involves a complete internal fit-out to accommodate a world class pharmaceuticals robot.
We will also be carrying out major structural work to create a second floor.
Expect progress updates as we move to the next stage of this exciting new project.
Interior

Details

We have recently completed delivery of georgeous Beskidian Larch. 

Timber known for growing in harsh conditions of southern Poland where temperatures fluctuates between -30 degrees in winter and +37 degrees in summer. 

This results in timber that is well accustomed to Scottish climate and gives beatiful characteristics. 

We can supply various thicknesses, sections and finishes. More examples to follow. 

Installation by a local contractor in Glasgow.
